Pre-recommendation

Preliminary Appraisal
Purpose
Identify risk factors before formal appraisal
Duration
Minimum 5 days

- Conducted in the same manner as formal appraisal
- Identify potential weaknesses in process implementation
- Explain CMMI® practical intent and coaching to participants

Recommended Frequency
